ANSA provides grants to African programs capable of making a significant difference on a range of critical issues.  ANSA grants provide vitally needed support in pivotal areas including: child and maternal health and welfare; rape intervention and prevention; lifesaving hospitalization, medical care, and nutrition for impoverished youth; early childhood education; health services, life skills training, and economic self-help for underprivileged mothers; orphan emergency needs; public education about South Africa's democracy and constitution;  arts education, training, and mentoring for disadvantaged youth; and other vital programs.
