Artists and Athletes Take Action Network PDF Print E-mail

ANSA's Artists and Athletes Take Action Network (AATAN) serves to mobilize substantive American and international celebrity participation in the issues, in ANSA's work and in the work of its partners, in order to galvanized increased attention, involvement, and support from the wider public.

ANSA recruits artists and athletes, educates them about the issues, mobilizes their involvement, and coordinates their participation in public education programs, media campaigns, fundraising efforts, and strategic advocacy calling for action and reform.  AATAN members function as spokespeople, working with ANSA staff and other experts and activists to effectively increase awareness and support for critical issues.

Artists and athletes participate in all of ANSA's programs, including Positively Speaking, the HIV Testing Initiative, Make Art/Stop AIDS, advocacy efforts, and Voices from the Frontlines.
